Dy. Manager, Inventory control non-IT, will be responsible for the entire Inventory available across SVKM which includes Projects & operation consumables, furniture & Fixture, Ac’s, Equipment’s as well as Fixed Assets bought out & self-generated. This will involve inter alia the following.
Accurate monitoring of the work for store personnel for project materials ordered, stored, issued & consumed for constructing fixed assets through contractors & determining the fair value of such constructed assets.
Ensure that proper recording systems incorporating, inter alia, receipts, issued, balances, documentation related to transfer of fixed assets are in place for inventory available in SVKM & its Institutes & report to Manager Inventory control.
Ensure that indents for purchase, ordering and re-ordering of inventory are sent out as & when required.
Ensure all project assets purchased need to be capitalise in SAP on respective institute account in co-ordination with account team.
Oversee the updation of stock registers, stock accounts across different levels of all the institutions.
Setting up a system for carrying out physical verification of fixed assets, stock & items as may be required statutorily & implementing the same.
Ensure that all the systems for inventory management are in accordance with the relevant SAP module.
Ensure safe & timely disposal of items which are unserviceable or written off.
To develop, implement & maintain comprehensive policies and procedures for store management & inventory control.
Any other duties / assignments given to you from time to time by the Management.
