Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing: Accurately read and process prescriptions from doctors; ensure the right dosage, quantity, and medicine is handed to the patient.
- Patient Counselling: Explain dosage, storage (e.g., refrigeration), and potential side effects to patients.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels daily, manage "Short-Expiry" medicines, and raise indents to avoid "Stock-Outs."
- Billing & Systems: Generate bills accurately using internal software; handle cash and digital payments.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain a clean pharmacy environment; adhere to the Pharmacy Act and Narcotic drug regulations.
- Cold Chain: Ensure vaccines and insulin are stored at the required temperatures
Candidate Requirements
- Education: B. Pharm or D. Pharm.
- Experience: 2-5 Years
- Licensing: Valid Registration with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
