The Product Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive product training programs for the company's wellness product portfolio. The role includes training employees, field sales executives, distributors, franchise partners, retailers, and business associates on product knowledge, usage, benefits, selling techniques, and customer handling. The Product Trainer will ensure that all teams are equipped with the knowledge and confidence required to effectively promote and sell the company's products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct induction and refresher training programs for employees, field sales teams, distributors, franchise partners, retailers, and business associates.
- Deliver detailed training on wellness products, including product features, ingredients, benefits, usage instructions, precautions, target customers, and product positioning.
- Conduct live product demonstrations and hands-on training sessions.
- Train sales teams on effective selling techniques, objection handling, customer counselling, and product recommendation strategies.
- Develop and update training materials, including presentations, product manuals, training videos, brochures, FAQs, quizzes, and assessment modules.
- Ensure all training content is accurate, updated, and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Organize online and offline training sessions across branches and distributor locations.
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and product knowledge tests.
- Identify training needs based on field performance and recommend appropriate learning programs.
- Coordinate with the Marketing, Product Development, and Sales teams for new product launches and product updates.
- Provide launch training for newly introduced products before market release.
- Travel extensively to conduct field training, distributor meetings, retail training, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Monitor product knowledge levels of field staff and provide continuous coaching.
- Prepare and submit training reports, attendance records, performance evaluations, and feedback reports to management.
- Support the sales team during product launches, dealer meets, promotional campaigns, and corporate events.
- Ensure all training sessions maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer education.
Required Skills
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong knowledge of wellness, healthcare, OTC, and consumer products.
- Ability to explain technical product information in simple and customer-friendly language.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Excellent demonstration and training delivery abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong planning, organizational, and reporting skills.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Training & Development or Learning Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Product Training, Sales Training, Learning & Development, or Product Education.
- Prior experience in wellness products, healthcare products, FMCG, medical devices, personal care, or consumer healthcare products will be preferred.

- Number of product training sessions conducted each month.
- Product knowledge assessment scores of trainees.
- Sales improvement following training programs.

Additional Responsibilities
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor products, and industry developments.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and training methodologies.
- Maintain confidentiality of company product information and training content.
- Promote the company's values, ethics, and professional standards during all training activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management related to product training and business development.
Working Conditions
- Extensive travel to company branches, distributor locations, franchise outlets, retail partners, and field markets.
- Participation in exhibitions, dealer meets, promotional campaigns, product launches, and corporate events.
- Flexibility to conduct training sessions on weekends or outside regular working hours when required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
