Job Description

We are looking for dynamic people with top notch server administration experience to join our team. You will be involved in administration of UNIX/Windows servers. You will be interacting with Metclouds’ clients world wide to resolve the technical issues through your trouble shooting knowledge and research ability. You will be solving basic to complex issues related to server and web hosting. Your written communication skill must be good and should have concentration and an eye in detail and also an attitude for continuous self learning and technology update.Our 24×7 technical support division requires you to be available to work in different shifts.

Desired Profile

> Any Degree ( with 60% and above ). No Backpapers.

> Excellent verbal and written communication skills

> Strong leadership and collaboration skills

> 0 to 10 year of experience in Linux/Unix/Windows/BSD system administration

> Certifications like MCP, MCSE, RHCE, RHCT will be a plus

> Willingness to work in shifts

Roles and Responsibilities

> Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

> Implement security measures to protect the system from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

> Familiarity with hosting control panels like cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Directadmin etc.

> Familiarity with various distributions.

> Familiarity with Open Source concepts and development methodologies.

> Compilation and installation of software from source.

> Automate system administration tasks

> Shell Scripting ( Bash, Perl, Python etc ).

> Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

> Backup, restore and disaster recovery.

> Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in Linux system administration.
