Role Overview
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations across multiple units, ensuring production efficiency, plant reliability, safety compliance, manpower productivity and operational excellence.
The role requires a strong operational leader with experience in process manufacturing environments and the ability to drive performance through systems, people and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Leadership
- Ensure achievement of production targets across all assigned units.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly production performance.
- Drive plant utilization and operational efficiency.
Operations Management
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality, stores, utilities and shift operations.
- Ensure operational discipline and accountability across teams.
Maintenance & Reliability
- Monitor preventive maintenance programs and breakdown management.
- Improve equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental and safety requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong safety culture across all units.
Resource Optimization
- Optimize manpower, equipment utilization, utilities and operating costs.
- Drive productivity improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, quality and technical teams.
- Ensure production plans are aligned with business requirements.
Operational Reviews & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct operational reviews and performance monitoring.
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
