Job Title: Senior HR & Admin Executive /Assistant HR & Admin Manager for Factory
Job Summary:
The Senior HR & Admin Executive will be responsible for handling all aspects of human resources and administration at the manufacturing unit, including employee management, compliance, factory discipline, administrative coordination, asset control, and facility management. The role supports smooth plant operations and ensures a compliant and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end hiring for factory roles (workers, operators, staff).
- Conduct joining formalities, background checks, and orientation.
- Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor shift-wise attendance using biometric/manual systems.
- Manage leave records and coordinate with payroll for processing.
- Address discrepancies in time and wage records.
- Employee Relations & Welfare
- Address employee grievances, maintain healthy employee relations.
- Organize welfare activities (canteen, transport, medical, etc.).
- Conduct engagement programs and motivational activities.
- Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (ESI, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
- Maintain statutory records and submit returns as required.
- Coordinate with government authorities and labor officials.
Administration Responsibilities:
- Facility Management
- Oversee housekeeping, security, and canteen operations.
- Ensure availability of utilities (water, power, hygiene).
- Coordinate maintenance of office/factory infrastructure.
- Asset & Inventory Control
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, uniforms, and ID cards.
- Monitor issuance and return of company assets (mobile, PPE, etc.).
- Transport & Accommodation
- Manage company transport for staff/workers.
- Arrange and maintain accommodation for outstation employees if required.
- Recordkeeping & Reporting
- Maintain employee files, visitor logs, gate pass registers, etc.
- Submit HR/Admin MIS reports regularly to HR head.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR / MSW / MBA (HR) / Industrial Relations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR/Admin role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory regulations.
