We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with expertise in corporate law, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and advanced accounting practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing financial operations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and applicable regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Tax Compliance:
- Manage GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliation, and addressing queries from tax authorities.
- Advise on tax planning and compliance related to corporate laws and indirect taxes.
- Corporate Law:
- Assist in corporate governance and compliance with the Companies Act, including statutory filings and maintaining statutory registers.
- Provide guidance on legal matters impacting the organization.
- Accounting Operations:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records.
- Audit Support:
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Implement internal controls to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Advisory Role:
- Provide financial and regulatory advice to management on various business initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate law.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)degree or CA Equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of GST regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
