The laboratory specializes in calibration for Dimension, Pressure, Mass, Volume, Torque, Force, Hardness, Impact, Acoustic, Acceleration, Temperature, Electrical, and Power.
Role Overview
The Calibration Engineer will carry out calibration of mechanical instruments in the lab and at client sites, maintain calibration records, and support documentation and compliance activities as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of mechanical parameters including Dimension, Force, Hardness, and Impact instruments
- Prepare and maintain calibration records, certificates, and related documentation
- Follow SOPs and work instructions as per NABL accreditation requirements
- Assist in uncertainty evaluations and technical record-keeping
- Support senior technical staff during NABL audits and assessments
- Conduct site calibration visits at client locations as required
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and upkeep of reference standards and equipment
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical calibration
- Basic understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL accreditation framework
- Familiarity with calibration of dimensional, force, hardness, or related instruments
- Ability to maintain accurate technical records and documentation
- Willingness to travel for site calibration assignments
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation / related field
