We are seeking an experienced Fitter to carry out preventive, breakdown, and overhauling maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating/mechanical equipment used in our chemical solvent plant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a chemical/pharma/process industry environment and a strong understanding of safe handling practices around solvents and hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, overhauling, and maintenance of centrifugal & positive displacement pumps (mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, impellers, etc.)
- Perform gearbox maintenance and overhauling — inspection, oil changes, gear/bearing replacement, alignment
- Attend to breakdown maintenance of rotating equipment with minimum downtime
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) as per the maintenance schedule/checklist
- Perform shaft alignment (laser/dial gauge) of pump-motor and gearbox assemblies
- Maintain and repair valves, agitators, blowers, compressors, and other plant mechanical equipment as required
Pay: ₹9,248.31 - ₹20,000.00 per month
