Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage end-to-end accounting for asset lending and loan portfolios. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in loan accounting, amortization schedules, financing transactions, mortgage accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls
Key Responsibilities
Asset Lending & Loan Accounting

Manage end-to-end accounting for asset lending and financing transactions.

Record and monitor loan disbursements, repayments, interest accruals, and loan closures.

Maintain accurate accounting records for secured and unsecured loans.

Prepare and maintain loan amortization schedules.

Calculate and account for interest accruals, effective interest rate (EIR), and amortization of loan-related fees and costs.

Reconcile principal and interest balances with lender statements.
Financing & Mortgage Accounting

Account for various financing arrangements, including term loans, working capital loans, lease financing, and mortgage loans.

Maintain mortgage registers and monitor collateral documentation.

Record financing costs, loan modifications, refinancing transactions, and debt restructuring entries where applicable.
Reconciliations & Financial Reporting

Perform monthly reconciliations of loan balances, interest expenses, and financing liabilities.

Prepare schedules supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/Ind AS/US GAAP, as applicable).

Maintain proper documentation of loan agreements, mortgage documents, and financing contracts.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience in end-to-end loan accounting and asset lending processes.

Strong knowledge of loan amortization, interest accounting, mortgage accounting, and financing transactions.

Understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards (IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP).

Proficiency in QuickBooks.

Excellent communication and strong analytical abilities.
Preferred Experience

3–8 years of experience in asset lending, loan amortization, and asset mortgage.

Experience working with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions.

Exposure to mortgage financing, loan financing is highly desirable.
