Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and design precision tooling and die components:
- Utilize advanced software and CAD systems to create detailed designs for tooling and dies.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the required functional aspects of the tool.
2. Construct and fabricate tooling and dies:
- Utilize manual and computer-controlled machinery to shape, cut, and form components.
- Perform milling, grinding, lathe work, and drilling operations to create precise tooling details.
- Manage cutting tools, fixtures, and other equipment required for tool construction.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that tool dimensions and tolerances meet specifications.
3. Maintain and repair existing tooling and dies:
- Regularly inspect and assess the performance of existing tooling and dies for wear, deterioration, or damage.
- Troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and repair or modify tooling as required.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address tooling-related concerns and provide effective solutions.
- Implement preventative maintenance measures to prolong tool life and improve efficiency.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams:
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand design requirements and gather feedback for enhancement.
- Collaborate with production technicians to define machining and assembly strategies for new tooling.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure cohesion and timely completion of projects.
5. Emphasize safety and maintain cleanliness:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Recommend and implement improvements to workplace safety protocols.
Qualification- Diploma, ITI
Experience- 1 to 4 years
