Position Overview:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the overall accounting and financial operations of the organization. This role involves overseeing daily accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing financial reports, and leading the accounts team to support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Handle GST, TDS, and VAT compliances, including timely filing of returns
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Prepare and review invoices, bills, and vouchers
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation (GST, TDS, VAT, Income Tax, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software or tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
