Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Civil Engineer to join our factory team in Agartala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil construction and maintenance projects, managing contractors, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise civil construction, repair, and maintenance activities within the factory premises.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project execution to ensure timely completion.
- Manage contractors, vendors, and site teams while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs for project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and resolve technical issues.
- Verify measurements, bills, and material consumption.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support infrastructure development and maintenance projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in civil construction, industrial projects, or factory infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, and site supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Experience in contractor management, project coordination, and quantity verification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule
- 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
