Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and qualified Staff Nurse to join our school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first aid, managing student health records, handling medical emergencies, and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
- Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries.
- Maintain accurate health records of students and staff.
- Administer prescribed medications with proper documentation.
- Monitor students with chronic health conditions and provide necessary care.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health.
- Ensure the school clinic is well-stocked with medicines and medical supplies.
- Maintain hygiene, infection control, and safety standards in the school.
- Conduct health awareness programs and wellness initiatives.
- Assist during school events, sports activities, and emergencies.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with a valid Nursing Council registration.
- 1–2 years of nursing experience (school or hospital experience preferred).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and health documentation.
- Ability to work independently and with school staff.
