At Saleshandy, we're on a mission to achieve 100% automation by the end of the year - and we need you to help us get there! As our Junior QA Engineer, you'll test features, automate workflows, and work with developers to keep our products running flawlessly.
Who Are We Looking For? - SDET 1
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in QA / SDET role
- Strong understanding of web application testing, REST API testing, and API workflows
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and test design techniques
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using:
- BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach (e.g., Cucumber with Playwright)
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts
- Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman
- Comfortable writing and validating SQL queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Exposure to AI-powered testing tools and practices, such as:
- Using ChatGPT / GitHub Copilot for test generation
- Self-healing automation and intelligent locators
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter)
- Knowledge of security testing (OWASP Top 10)
