Installation & Configuration
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and related equipment.
- Set up network connectivity for IP-based surveillance systems.
- Configure recording schedules, motion detection, and remote viewing access.
- Perform camera positioning and calibration for optimal coverage.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Replace faulty cameras, cables, connectors, power supplies, and storage devices.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of surveillance systems.
Monitoring & Security Support
- Verify camera functionality and recording status daily.
- Review footage when required for security investigations.
- Maintain proper storage and backup of surveillance recordings.
- Coordinate with farm management regarding security incidents and system improvements.
Network & Technical Support
- Support LAN/WAN connectivity related to CCTV systems.
- Maintain network switches, routers, and wireless devices used for surveillance.
- Ensure cybersecurity and password management for CCTV systems.
- Assist with integration of CCTV systems with access control or alarm systems if applicable.
Documentation
- Maintain records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports on system performance and downtime.
- Keep inventory of CCTV equipment, spare parts, and tools.
