We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect with a strong background in financial systems integration. The role focuses on designing, developing, and governing scalable, high-performance data integration solutions across enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between finance, tax, and accounting systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure Integration Services, event-driven architecture, and ERP integrations, enabling high-integrity financial data processing and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end integration architectures using Azure Integration Services (ADF, Event Hubs, Service Bus, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
Develop and maintain event-driven and streaming data pipelines for financial data ecosystems.
Lead the design and governance of RESTful APIs, including OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and lifecycle management.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture.
Integrate financial systems with major ERPs such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
Define and manage event schemas, message contracts, and versioning strategies ensuring data consistency and scalability.
Perform data validation and transformation using SQL and Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT, Data Engineering) to deliver robust integration solutions.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements related to financial data.
Identify and implement process improvements for integration performance and reliability.

Key Requirements

7+ years of experience in integration architecture, middleware, or data engineering, with at least 3 years in finance/tax/accounting technology.
Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Integration Services (ADF, Event Hubs, Service Bus, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
Proven experience designing event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API governance, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns and modern data architectures (Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture).
Experience integrating with ERP platforms such as Workday (PECI, Core Connectors, RaaS), SAP, or Oracle in financial contexts.
Strong understanding of event schema design, message contracts, and versioning principles.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and pipeline development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technical (Advantageous)

Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or other iPaaS platforms.
Knowledge of global e-invoicing and regulatory standards (PEPPOL, SAF-T, e-Fattura, CFDI, etc.).
Exposure to Microsoft Purview for data governance and lineage tracking.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/Terraform).
Understanding of Workday Payroll integrations and PECI delta processing patterns.
