Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to teach IGCSE Economics to secondary school students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing students' analytical and critical-thinking skills, and preparing them for success in Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Economics lessons in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes student participation and academic excellence.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
- Prepare students effectively for IGCSE examinations through revision sessions and exam-oriented guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Economics or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Cambridge IGCSE teaching certification/training will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching Economics at the IGCSE level.
- Experience with Cambridge curriculum and examination requirements preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving strong student academic outcomes.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
- Participate in school events, professional development programs, and extracurricular activities as required.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
