Chindalia Industrial Products Limited (CIPL) is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to expand our industrial customer base across South India. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in industrial sales, a strong understanding of hydraulic tools and equipment, and an established network within major industries such as power, steel, cement, mining, heavy engineering, and manufacturing.
The role involves regular customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, business development, and generating sales opportunities with leading industrial organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit industrial plants and customers across South India to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations of hydraulic tools and equipment.
- Meet Maintenance, Purchase, Mechanical, Projects, and Plant Heads to promote the company's product range.
- Develop business with industries including Power Plants, Steel Plants, Cement Plants, Mining, Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering, EPC, and Manufacturing.
- Prepare and submit quotations, follow up on inquiries, and convert leads into orders.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Identify new projects, shutdown requirements, and annual maintenance opportunities.
- Coordinate with the internal sales team for technical and commercial support.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Submit regular visit reports and market feedback.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Industrial Sales or Technical Sales.
- Prior experience in selling hydraulic tools, hydraulic equipment, bolting solutions, lifting equipment, or industrial maintenance products.
- Good technical knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps, torque wrenches, hydraulic jacks, pullers, and related products.
- Experience in plant visits, customer meetings, technical presentations, and business development.
- Existing network within power, steel, cement, mining, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
Language Requirements
Candidates must be based in or have prior work experience in South India and should be able to communicate effectively in English along with one or more South Indian languages, such as:
- Kannada
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Malayalam

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
