Roles & Responsibilities:

Meet with clients and internal teams to understand website design and functional requirements.
Design and build responsive and user-friendly website front ends.
Plan and create scalable website architecture.
Develop and manage the website back end, including database and server integrations.
Create, customise, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
Integrate third-party plugins, APIs, payment gateways, and business tools.
Develop and customise WooCommerce websites and online stores.
Conduct website functionality, compatibility, security, and performance tests.
Troubleshoot website, plugin, theme, database, and content-related issues.
Optimise websites for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and search performance.
Provide WordPress training and technical guidance to clients.
Monitor live website performance and resolve technical issues.
Maintain technical documentation and version-controlled code.

Profile Requisites:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven professional experience in WordPress development.
Strong knowledge of PHP and MVC architecture.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
Knowledge of WooCommerce and payment gateway integration.
Familiarity with Git, SVN, Mercurial, or similar version-control tools.
Experience using browser debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools.
Good understanding of databases, server integration, website architecture, and aesthetics.
Ability to manage projects, priorities, deadlines, and client requirements.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
