Job Summary
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As an SAP HANA Cloud Developer at HCLTech, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based SAP HANA solutions. Your contributions will directly support the company’s digital transformation initiatives and enhance our clients’ business processes by leveraging advanced analytics and real-time data capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of enterprise technology solutions.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable SAP HANA cloud applications and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Implement data models, database objects, and stored procedures within SAP HANA.
- Optimize performance and ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of SAP HANA solutions.
- Integrate SAP HANA with other SAP and non-SAP applications, including cloud and on-premise systems.
- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and best practices to ensure consistent and sustainable development.
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP HANA cloud features, releases, and industry trends.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SAP HANA development, including cloud implementation projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and SAP HANA native development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform, or similar cloud services.
- Solid understanding of integration techniques and protocols (e.g., OData, REST, SOAP).
- Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori, ABAP, and related SAP technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)
- SAP HANA certification or relevant SAP cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Exposure to machine learning, advanced analytics, or data science within SAP environments.
