Job Description
We are looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Videographer based in Chennai to collaborate on project-based video shoots. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling on-site shoots and delivering high-quality video content for digital platforms.
This role is perfect for freelancers who want flexible work while collaborating with brands, businesses and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality videos for ads, social media, events and brand content
- Handle camera setup, lighting, and basic audio during shoots
- Understand shoot requirements and follow creative briefs
- Coordinate with the team on shoot schedules and locations
- Deliver raw footage or edited videos within agreed timelines
- Maintain consistency in video quality and framing
Requirements
- Must be based in Coimbatore and available for on-site shoots
- Proven experience as a videographer (freelance or full-time)
- Own professional camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless preferred)
- Knowledge of framing, lighting and composition
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve – preferred)
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Preferred Skills
- Experience shooting reels, ads and short-form content
- Understanding of Instagram, YouTube and digital ad formats
- Drone videography (optional, added advantage)
Compensation
- Payment will be project-based / per shoot
- Rates discussed based on experience and scope of work
