Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct orientation programs for newly joined nursing staff.
- Identify training needs through competency assessments, audits, incident reports, and departmental feedback.
- Develop and deliver in-service education, clinical training sessions, workshops, and continuing nursing education (CNE) programs.
- Assess and evaluate nursing competencies through practical demonstrations, skill assessments, and written evaluations.
- Prepare annual training calendars and maintain training records and attendance.
- Ensure nursing staff are trained on hospital policies, infection prevention and control, patient safety, medication safety, documentation standards, and emergency response protocols.
- Coordinate Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), fire safety, and other mandatory training programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, NABH/JCI accreditation activities, and clinical audits.
- Mentor and support nursing staff in achieving clinical excellence and professional growth.
- Develop educational materials, SOPs, competency checklists, presentations, and learning modules.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements based on outcomes and feedback.
- Collaborate with department heads, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to strengthen clinical education initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- M.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Certification in BLS/ACLS or clinical education is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1–2 years in nursing education or staff training in a multi-specialty hospital.
- Experience with NABH/JCI standards is preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
