- Emergency Management: Respond immediately to medical emergencies (e.g., Code Blue), provide advanced life support, and stabilize patients.
- Patient Care & Assessment: Conduct initial patient assessments, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
- Clinical Rounds: Perform regular rounds in wards or ICUs to monitor patient progress, review vitals, and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment charts, and medico-legal documentation.
- Collaboration & Handover: Coordinate with nursing staff and specialists; ensure a detailed and formal handover of patient cases to the incoming medical team at the end of a shift.
