Job Summary
The Safety Head / Safety Incharge shall be responsible for implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of safety standards across all project sites in accordance with client requirements, company policies, and statutory safety norms.
The role primarily involves ensuring availability and proper deployment of safety equipment, traffic safety arrangements, safety signages, barricading, PPE compliance, and adherence to all site safety protocols. The candidate shall also be responsible for maintaining safety inventory records and ensuring safety materials are not misplaced, damaged, or unavailable at site/store level.
The role requires strong ownership mentality, strict follow-up culture, and practical site-level coordination and enforcement capability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all client-mandated safety protocols across project sites.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions/practices.
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of:
- Safety signboards
- Barricading
- Reflective tapes
- Traffic cones
- Blinkers/lights
- Diversion boards
- Safety tapes
- Other traffic and work-zone safety arrangements.
- Ensure all workers, operators, staff, and subcontractors use proper PPE at site.
- Coordinate with site teams for immediate rectification of safety observations.
- Ensure all required safety materials and PPEs are available at site and stores at all times.
- Maintain proper inventory records of safety equipment and consumables.
- Monitor issue, return, usage, and condition of safety materials to avoid loss/misplacement.
- Coordinate with procurement/store departments for timely replenishment of safety items.
- Maintain safety inspection reports, compliance records, and photographic documentation.
- Ensure closure of client safety observations within stipulated timelines.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness activities where required.
- Monitor housekeeping and overall safety discipline at sites.
- Report recurring safety violations and non-compliance issues to management.
- Support safety audits and inspections conducted by clients or authorities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
