About Apenir
Apenir Innovations is developing a Pill Dispenser that combines engineering, healthcare, and technology to improve medication adherence and patient outcomes. We are looking for creative Mechanical Design Engineering Interns to help transform ideas into functional, manufacturable products.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
- Develop the pill dispensing mechanism and internal structure.
- Create 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Design product enclosures with a focus on usability and manufacturability.
- Build and evaluate prototypes using 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Work closely with electronics and embedded engineering teams to integrate hardware.
- Participate in product testing, refinement, and design reviews.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, or similar CAD software.
- Understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and materials.
- Interest in consumer product design and hardware development.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
