Job Summary
Sanskriti International School, Kompally, is seeking a passionate and creative Art & Craft Teacher to inspire students through visual arts, creative expression, and hands-on learning. The ideal candidate will foster artistic development, encourage imagination, and help students build confidence through various art forms and craft activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art & Craft lessons for students across different grade levels.
- Teach drawing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, paper craft, sculpture, collage work, and other creative techniques.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and self-expression among students.
- Introduce students to art elements such as color theory, composition, perspective, and design concepts.
- Organize art exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and school displays.
- Prepare students for inter-school art and cultural events.
- Maintain art supplies, tools, and studio/classroom resources.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate art with school themes, festivals, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, or related field.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or International School environment.
- Strong skills in drawing, painting, craft work, and clay modeling.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
- Passion for nurturing young artists and promoting creativity.
