The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Monitor material quality, quantity, and usage at site
- Prepare and verify site measurements (MB, RA bills, NMR works)
- Ensure safety norms and site discipline are followed
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and structural engineers
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports (DPR), and checklists
- Handle site issues and provide technical solutions
- Ensure timely completion of work as per project schedule
Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 2–4 years of site experience (varies by project)
- Good knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, and finishing works
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and site documentation
- Strong communication and coordination skills
