Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support the execution of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in site supervision, quality control, contractor coordination, and ensure that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site workers.
- Verify measurements and prepare daily progress reports.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and material management.
- Inspect workmanship and ensure quality control at every stage of construction.
- Resolve basic site-related technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Maintain site documentation, BOQs, DPRs, and project records.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Participate in site inspections and client or consultant meetings when required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of residential construction methods and site execution.
- Understanding of RCC work, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards and safety practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in residential construction projects.
- Willingness to travel between project sites if required.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple site activities.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
