Support the establishment and deployment of the GCM Evidence Strategy &Planning team, initially standing up and operationalizing the evidence record centralization before expanding oversight to the full portfolio of IEP coordination, evidence reuse assessment, PRO/COA benchmarking, and scenario planning support activities as the team scales.
Manage a growing team of Strategy & Planning Leads, ensuring high-quality, consistent execution of evidence planning operations, and helping create seamless transitions across the GCM and Global Evidence Generation Strategy &Planning team on all evidence documentation, governance, and planning support activities.
Initial Capability Build: Evidence Records Maintenance
Support the design and establishment of evidence record management processes within the GCM, including defining repository standards, naming conventions, metadata requirements, access controls, and retention categories in close coordination with Global Evidence Generation before full GCM transition
Identify and resolve early-stage process gaps, ambiguities in scope boundaries between GCM and Global Evidence Generation, and repository readiness issues before they affect downstream evidence governance
Evidence Strategy & Planning Operations Oversight
Oversee quality and consistency of all GCM evidence strategy and planning outputs across the team's full scope once at steady state, including IEP maintenance, evidence record management, reuse assessments, PRO/COA benchmarking, and HA & Payer launch and scenario planning support
Review team outputs before distribution to Global Evidence Generation stakeholders; resolve operational and process issues within the team and escalate scientific, strategic, or compliance questions to the US organization as appropriate
Monitor workload distribution across concurrent IEPs, reuse requests, benchmarking needs, and planning workstreams; adjust prioritization and capacity allocation as portfolio demands shift
Build team capability through coaching, onboarding, structured training, and performance feedback; identify skill gaps and support individual development as the team scales from initial build to full steady-state capacity
Stakeholder Coordination & Initial Capability Builds
Coordinate with GCM Evidence Generation Strategy & Operations Enablement Group Lead (Associate Director) to confirm strategic question framing, scientific scope boundaries, and escalation thresholds before GCM activity is initiated
Flag operational risks, capacity constraints, recurring process gaps, or scope boundary issues to the GCM Evidence Generation Strategy & Operations Enablement Group Lead (Associate Director) in a timely manner
Experience: >5 years of related work experience; >4 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry; experience in evidence strategy support, HEOR operations, scientific documentation, or related evidence management roles; experience managing teams or senior individual contributors strongly preferred; experience working in a GCM or shared services environment strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of evidence planning and IEP governance processes, including evidence records, reuse frameworks, PRO/COA benchmarking (preferred), and scenario planning across the asset lifecycle
Experience establishing or overseeing evidence repository standards, metadata governance, naming conventions, and document lifecycle management in a regulated pharmaceutical environment (e.g. Veeva Vault or equivalent)
Education: A scientific, medical, life sciences, or health economics degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus
Languages: Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous
