Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations at our warehouse and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial safety, particularly in warehouse environments involving forklift operations, material handling, and dispatch activities.
Eligibility
- Diploma in Industrial Safety With 3-5 Years of Experience.
- B.Tech with 2 years of relevant industrial safety experience.
Prefered Experience in Warehouses, Dispatch, Forklift and Manufacturing Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of warehouse, dispatch, and operational areas.
- Monitor safe forklift operations and ensure adherence to material handling safety procedures.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and employee safety awareness programs.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and monitor compliance across all work areas.
- Maintain EHS documentation, inspection records, and statutory registers.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, mock drills, and fire safety inspections.
- Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to promote a strong safety culture.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of warehouse safety, forklift safety, and dispatch operations.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and audits.
- Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
Working Hours
- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Weekly Off: Sunday
