Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Mechanical & Electrical
Department: Maintenance / Production
Job Objective:
To ensure smooth operation, reliability, and minimum breakdown of industrial machines such as Grinding, Drilling, Lathe, and other production equipment through effective mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Maintenance:
- Maintain and repair machines like Grinding, Drilling, Lathe, and Milling machines
- Identify and fix mechanical breakdowns quickly
- Perform replacement of bearings, belts, gears, shafts, and other components
- Carry out machine alignment and lubrication work
- Follow preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
Electrical Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring
- Repair and maintain starters, relays, contactors, MCBs, and other electrical components
- Diagnose machine electrical issues and restore operations
- Ensure proper electrical safety practices
General Duties:
- Conduct daily machine inspection and reporting
- Minimize machine downtime and improve productivity
- Maintain spare parts records and report requirements
- Follow all safety standards and SOPs
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of industrial machines (Grinding, Drilling, Lathe, etc.)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (Single-phase & Three-phase)
- Fault finding and troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical)
- Ability to use tools such as spanners, multimeters, torque tools, etc.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance
Education & Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 1–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,978.19 per month
