About the Role
As a Chess Coach at ChessWize, you will:
- Conduct engaging online chess classes for kids and beginners.
- Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, openings, middlegame, and endgame concepts.
- Analyze games and help students improve strategically.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality during sessions.
Requirements
- Basic to advanced chess knowledge.
- FIDE-rated players preferred, but unrated passionate players can also apply.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Prior teaching/coaching experience is a plus.
- Must have a laptop/tablet with stable internet connection.
- Passion for teaching children and helping them grow.
Preferred Skills
- Experience playing tournament/federation chess.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and interactive way.
- Patient, disciplined, and student-friendly attitude.
Work Timings
- Flexible part-time hours.
- Morning and evening slots available.
- Weekend availability is a plus.
