Key Responsibilities1. Student Assessment & Identification
- Conduct screening and assessment of students with learning difficulties and special educational needs.
- Analyze assessment reports and identify learning gaps.
- Prepare and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for eligible students.
2. Academic Support
- Provide remedial and individualized instruction to students requiring special support.
- Modify curriculum, teaching methods, and learning materials to suit diverse learning needs.
- Assist students in developing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
3. Inclusive Education
- Promote inclusive classroom practices and facilitate student participation in regular classroom activities.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt lesson plans and assessments.
- Recommend appropriate accommodations and concessions during examinations as per applicable guidelines.
4. Collaboration & Counseling
- Coordinate with class teachers, subject teachers, counselors, and school leadership regarding student progress.
- Conduct parent meetings and provide guidance for home-based interventions.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress reports, and case histories.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and submit them to the Principal and parents.
- Keep updated documentation as required by CBSE and other regulatory authorities.
6. Capacity Building
- Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for teachers and parents on inclusive education and learning disabilities.
- Share effective classroom strategies for supporting children with special needs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed. (Special Education) / Diploma in Special Education (recognized by RCI).
- Valid Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience working with children having special educational needs in a school setting.
- Experience in developing IEPs and conducting remedial interventions will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,508.94 - ₹34,317.46 per month
