Main Responsibilities1. Personal Care Assistance
- Helping patients with bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.

2. Monitoring Patient Condition
- Measuring and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure (if trained).
- Observing changes in the patient's physical or mental condition.
- Reporting concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
3. Assistance with Daily Living Activities
- Helping patients eat and drink.
- Preparing simple meals according to dietary requirements.
- Assisting with medication reminders (depending on local regulations and employer policies).
- Supporting exercise and rehabilitation activities prescribed by healthcare professionals.
4. Maintaining a Safe Environment
- Keeping the patient's room clean and organized.
- Changing bed linens and assisting with laundry.
- Ensuring mobility aids and medical equipment are used safely.
- Helping prevent falls and injuries.
5. Emotional and Social Support
- Providing companionship and conversation.
- Encouraging social interaction and engagement.
- Supporting patients who may feel lonely, anxious, or isolated.
6. Documentation
- Recording care provided during each visit.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Completing reports required by the home nursing agency or supervising nurse.
