Job Summary: The Urban Village is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Banquet Captain to oversee banquet operations and ensure the successful execution of events, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise banquet service staff during events and functions.
- Ensure proper event setup and service standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and banquet teams for smooth operations.
- Brief and assign duties to banquet staff before events.
- Monitor food and beverage service quality.
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of banquet areas.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in training and guiding banquet service staff.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in banquet operations or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of banquet service procedures and event operations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hotel Management qualification preferred.
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
