What this job involves: As an F&B Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional dining and hospitality experiences that bring people together and elevate workplace culture. In this role, you'll oversee all food and beverage operations within corporate workplace environments, including cafeterias, coffee bars, grab-and-go markets, executive dining rooms, and catering services for meetings, conferences, and special events. You'll manage vendor relationships, develop innovative culinary programs, and ensure every meal and service touchpoint reflects the highest standards of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. What your day-to-day will look like: Oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets including cafeterias, coffee stations, grab-and-go markets, executive dining rooms, and catering services while ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage, and service standards
Manage relationships with food service contractors, catering companies, coffee suppliers, and specialty vendors through contract negotiations, performance reviews, and scorecarding to ensure compliance with service level agreements
Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to develop diverse, appealing menu offerings that incorporate rotating cycles, seasonal specialties, healthy eating options, and allergen accommodations while balancing culinary creativity with cost management
Serve as primary point of contact for F&B matters with client leadership and workplace teams, conducting regular business reviews that present performance metrics, customer feedback, and program initiatives aligned with organizational culture goals
Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys, comment cards, and digital platforms, analyzing feedback trends to implement service improvements and manage complaint resolution with a hospitality-first approach
Develop and manage F&B operating budgets including labor, food costs, and contract expenses, tracking financial performance through P&L analysis and implementing cost optimization opportunities while establishing pricing strategies
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and workplace safety standards by conducting regular audits, maintaining required certifications and permits, and managing any incidents with appropriate corrective action plans
Implement sustainable F&B practices including waste reduction, composting programs, environmentally responsible sourcing, and initiatives that support client sustainability goals and green building certifications
Leverage F&B technology platforms including point-of-sale systems, mobile ordering apps, cashless payment solutions, and inventory management systems while analyzing transaction data to inform operational decisions and enhance customer convenience
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field
Food Safety Manager Certification (with good knowledge of HACCP principles and health code compliance)
10-12 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations with 3-5 years in management role overseeing F&B outlets or large-scale operations
Experience in corporate dining, contract food services, hospitality, or restaurant management with background in high-volume food service (500+ daily covers preferred)
Strong financial management skills including P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, contract negotiation, and cost control optimization
Exceptional leadership and people management abilities with proven track record of coaching teams and fostering service culture focused on hospitality excellence
Outstanding customer service orientation with excellent communication and presentation skills for effective client engagement and stakeholder relationship building
Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management platforms, F&B technology software, and Microsoft Office suite
Experience collaborating with workplace design teams on F&B space planning, kitchen layouts, equipment specifications, and commissioning of new facilities
