- Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) layouts ensuring accuracy and avoiding design deviations.
- Prepare DAP (Design Approval Package)based on order Transferred documents.
- Coordinate with internal terms and customers to obtain timely DAP approvals
- Ensure final design release and BOM
- Provide clea machine peripherals like guards,enclosure,telescopic covers, and chip conveyors.
- Follow design quality checklist to ensure all key dimensions, tolerances, and assembly details as per company standards.
- Updates As - Built drawings and BOM revisions
- Maintain proper design documentation
- Coordinate closely with projects , production, purchase,and quality, electrical,assembly departments
Required Skills :
Mechanical Design Knowledge - Understanding of machine design, assembly concepts
SPM/Automation design Understanding - Ability to design, assemblies for industrial automation equipment
GD & T & Tolerance understanding -Knowledge of correct tolerance and dimensioning practices.
BOM Preparation & Control- Ability to create and manage accurate Bill Of materials.
Problem Solving - Ability to resolve design issues and avoid technical errors.
Attention to detail - Ensures accuracy in drawings,layouts, and BOM.
Coordination Skills - Effective collaboration with projects , production and purchase teams.
Documentation & Revision Control - Proper maintenance of drawings, revisions,and design records.
Software skills - Proficiency in AutoCAD /Solid Works Or Similar design software and MS Excel.
Communucation Skills - Clear communication with internal teams and customers.
Language Skills - Fluency in English ,Hindi, and Marathi preferred.
