Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company HSE policies at construction sites
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification
- Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, lifting operations, excavation, and confined space work
- Enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and visitors
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing safety training
- Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions immediately
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on safety practices
- Ensure availability and maintenance of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, harnesses, barricades, etc.)
- Monitor scaffolding, formwork, and lifting equipment safety compliance
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records (PTW system)
- Ensure emergency response procedures are in place and conduct mock drills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in construction safety
- Strong knowledge of construction hazards and safety standards
- Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk environments
Working Conditions
- On-site role involving exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Requires frequent walking, climbing, and physical inspections
- May require working extended hours or shifts based on project timelines
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
