Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Gym Manager with 5 years of experience to manage the complete operations of our fitness centre in Odisha.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in gym operations, team management, membership sales, customer retention, revenue generation, and facility management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the gym.
- Lead and manage fitness trainers, sales executives, front-desk staff, and support teams.
- Drive new membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and customer retention.
- Achieve monthly membership and revenue targets.
- Manage and motivate the team to improve productivity and sales performance.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, complaints, and escalations.
- Develop strategies to increase membership and revenue.
- Monitor daily sales, membership, attendance, and revenue reports.
- Ensure excellent customer service and member experience.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the gym.
- Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
- Prepare regular MIS and performance reports for management.
- Build strong relationships with existing members and generate referrals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience, preferably in gym/fitness centre management.
- Previous experience as a Gym Manager, Fitness Centre Manager, Club Manager, or Fitness Operations Manager is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of gym operations and membership management.
- Proven experience handling sales/revenue targets and team management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
- Target-driven and commercially focused.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MIS, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Hospitality, Sports/Fitness Management, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation
