Position: Jr. Engineer – Civil

Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Engineer
Job Purpose
To assist in the planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of civil construction works at project sites, ensuring work is completed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the site.
- Study and understand structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labour teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment required for site activities.
- Check levels, dimensions, alignment, and measurements of construction works.
- Assist in quantity calculations and preparation of material requirements.
- Maintain daily site progress reports and work records.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and quality checks.
- Identify site issues and report them to the Senior Engineer / Project Manager.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Assist in preparing measurements and checking contractor bills.
- Ensure proper utilization and minimize wastage of construction materials.
- Follow site safety procedures and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth progress of the project.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager / Management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 0–3 years in civil construction preferred.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at construction sites.

Working Conditions
- Full-time site-based position.
- Regular site visits and supervision are required.
- Candidate should be willing to work according to project requirements and site schedules.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
