Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to support surgical procedures at our IVF center. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operation theatre, assisting doctors during procedures, and ensuring all equipment is sterilized and functioning efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after procedures
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during IVF and other surgical procedures
- Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and OT environment
- Handle, maintain, and check OT equipment regularly
- Monitor stock levels of surgical supplies and report shortages
- Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
- Support patient preparation and post-operative care as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Operation Theatre Technology or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in OT (experience in IVF/fertility centers preferred)
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and OT protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in IVF procedures or gynecological surgeries
- Familiarity with OT equipment and emergency protocols
- Good communication and organizational skills
