Job Description
Manages the procurement of goods (food, beverage, amenities, linens) to ensure cost-effective operations, optimal stock levels, and quality compliance. They source suppliers, negotiate contracts, issue purchase orders, and coordinate with departments to meet operational needs while adhering to budget constraints and safety regulations.
Streamline procurement processes, Authorize and evaluate goods receipt, and ensure adherence to quality.
Manage and adhere to long-term contracts with suppliers.
Ensure adequate stock levelsSupport and coordinate with the various dept.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:-
Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient purchasing.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers to secure best-value deals.
Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels of perishables and non-perishables, placing orders to avoid shortages and minimize waste.
Order Management: Process purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and ensure goods are received in the correct quantity and quality.
Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with departments like Food & Beverage (F&B), Housekeeping, and Finance to understand requirements and manage budgets.
Supplier Relations: Maintain and update a database of vendors, assessing performance and fostering long-term relationships.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all procured items meet hotel quality standards, safety standards (e.g., HACCP), and procurement policies.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts, and prepare cost-analysis reports

Desired Candidate Profile
You must manage and report day- to-day functioning of the purchasing department, which calls for complete visibility on Open Purchase and Job Work Orders, Quotations, Pending Receipt - Suppliers/Subcontractor etc.
Proven experience as a purchasing officer or similar role in the hotel/hospitality industry.
Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong skills to negotiate with suppliers and build vendor relationships.
Ability to analyze spending patterns and prepare financial reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹270,000.00 per month
