Job Summary
Seva Sadan Society, a charitable institution (NGO) runs an English Medium School located at Gamdevi, near Grant Road, Mumbai. We are registered as a Trust and run by an elected Managing Committee who works voluntarily.
The services we offer include:
· A Residential Home for underprivileged girls (ages 8 to 18)
· Schools in Marathi and English medium for underprivileged students
The School is 17 years old and offers SSC curriculum to children from underprivileged and low-income backgrounds. The co-education School has ~300 students
We are looking for a well-qualified Teacher to teach our Primary Section of our English School(SSC Board)
Responsibilities and Duties
· Manage the class that is assigned
· Lesson planning, designing activities to make learning more fun
· Adopting modern teaching techniques
· Attend trainings as decided by the school-in-charge
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
D.Ed
Diploma in Education is a pre-requisite. PLEASE DONT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE A D.Ed.
5 plus years of primary / secondary school teaching in English medium schools
Excellent command of the English language
