Job Summary
The ANM will assist pediatricians, neonatologists, and nursing staff in providing safe and effective nursing care to newborns, infants, children, and mothers. The role includes supporting clinical procedures, immunization services, patient education, infection control, and maintaining accurate medical records while ensuring a child-friendly and family-centered healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors and registered nurses in providing nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, growth parameters, and general health status.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and injections as prescribed and in accordance with established protocols.
- Support immunization clinics and maintain vaccination records.
- Provide antenatal, postnatal, breastfeeding, and newborn care education to mothers and caregivers.
- Assist during neonatal and pediatric procedures and emergency situations.
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and infection prevention standards in patient care areas.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and nursing records.
- Educate parents on child nutrition, hygiene, immunization schedules, and home care.
