Key Responsibilities
- Desktop & Device Support: Address user tickets regarding laptops, desktops, and peripherals. Conduct hands-on and remote troubleshooting to resolve hardware and OS issues.
- OS & Software Deployment: Assist with local/network installations, OS imaging (e.g., Windows 10/11), and basic software packaging/deployment using tools like SCCM or Microsoft Intune.
- Access Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies. Set up multi-factor authentication and ensure devices remain compliant with security policies.
- IT Asset Management: Assist in hardware provisioning, track equipment inventory, and submit purchase orders for replacement parts.
- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and step-by-step guides for users.
- Escalation: Diagnose issues, walk users through resolutions, and escalate complex network or infrastructure issues to senior tiers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent diploma).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or EUC systems administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and/or macOS operating systems, basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, and VPN troubleshooting. Familiarity with endpoint management platforms (SCCM, Intune) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to guide users patiently through technical troubleshooting.
