We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Data Scientist to join our team in Kharadi, Pune. Role Overview
As a Data Scientist, you will work across multiple client engagements, requiring both depth and breadth in machine learning problem-solving. This is a strictly hands-on role. We are looking for active Data Science practitioners with recent, continuous experience building and deploying models, rather than professionals who have transitioned primarily into Data Engineering or Data Analytics management.
Key Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant Data Science experience (Exceptional candidates with 3.5+ years will be considered).
- Recency: Must be currently working as a Data Scientist or have very recent hands-on experience.
- Domain: Pharma/Healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome strong ML talent from any industry; your technical expertise is what matters most.
- Location: Kharadi, Pune (On-site/Hybrid as per company policy).
Technical Skills & Core Competencies### Machine Learning & Modeling
- Supervised & Unsupervised Learning: Deep understanding of classification and regression models.
- Model Lifecycle: Hands-on experience with Feature Engineering, Model Evaluation, Validation, and Deployment concepts.
- Libraries: Advanced proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, LightGBM).
### Data & Analytics
- Data Manipulation: Expert-level Python and SQL for data extraction and preprocessing.
- Statistics: Strong grasp of Statistical Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Predictive Analytics: Ability to transform raw data into forward-looking insights.
Preferred Project Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a diverse portfolio. Your experience should not be limited to a single use case. We are looking for hands-on exposure across multiple areas, such as:
- Forecasting & Predictive Modeling
- Customer/Patient Segmentation
- Churn Prediction & Retention Analytics
- Event Prediction & Recommendation Systems
- Multi-class Classification Problems
What We Are Looking For Must Have:
- Active, daily hands-on experience in a Data Scientist capacity.
- Crystal-clear understanding of core ML fundamentals and the ability to explain methodologies and business impact intuitively.
- A proven track record of solving a variety of distinct machine learning problems.
Not Preferred:
- Candidates whose Data Science experience is old and who are currently working exclusively in Data Engineering or Data Analytics roles.
- "Single-use-case" specialists (e.g., individuals who have only done forecasting or only worked on text extraction for years).
Pay: ₹599,082.29 - ₹1,786,342.75 per year
