About the Role
We are looking for a proactive IT Officer to manage and support our day-to-day IT operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted technology support, maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help employees stay productive through efficient technical assistance.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User Support
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT devices.
- Resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
- Support users both remotely and on-site.
IT Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet-related issues.
- Install and manage antivirus software and endpoint security.
Device & Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of laptops, desktops, peripherals, and IT accessories.
- Track software licenses and ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare and configure systems for new employee onboarding.
System Maintenance
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and recovery activities.
- Ensure systems remain secure, stable, and compliant with company standards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Service Management
- Resolve IT support requests within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and IT assets.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and technical support when required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, networking, printers, and peripherals.
- Understanding of antivirus management, system backups, and endpoint security.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
