Job Description:
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to manage site execution, planning, and coordination of electrical projects. The candidate will be responsible for handling projects from start to finish and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site execution and supervision of HT/LT works, substation, cabling, DB, lighting, and earthing.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, SLD, layout, and BOQ Project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination
- Vendor coordination, material indent, and site material management
- Liaison with clients, consultants, TNEB and other authorities
- Quality control and ensuring work as per IS standards and safety norms
- Preparing daily progress reports, MOM, and site billing
- Team handling of electricians, supervisors, and subcontractors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Electrical / EEE
- 3 to 7 years experience in project execution with an EA Grade contractor preferred
- Knowledge of HT/LT works, substation, cable laying, and testing
- Good knowledge of NEC, IE Rules, and TNEB procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Willing to work at site and handle multiple projects
