Position Overview :
Are you a passionate QE prepared to take on complex application challenges and elevate quality across modern, high‑performance platforms?
We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer (QE) with experience in automation to join our team that works to solve challenges for both the front-end andback-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences forpharmacy patients and prescribers.
As a QE Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products throughautomated, manual testingand continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with our development teams todesign, develop and execute automated test scripts, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy
Responsibilities:
- Automation First: Design, build, and maintain automation across UI (Selenium WebDriver), API (RestAssured), and integration/contract layers; structure suites for speed, stability, and readability.
- In‑Sprint Quality: Start automation in parallel with development; balance exploratory and automated testing; raise risks early and minimize post‑sprint carryover.
- Performance Security: Monitor service latency and throughput; optimize network bandwidth where tests surface bottlenecks; validate and enforce data encryption, access controls, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- CI/CD Integration: Embed automated checks (unit, API, UI, contract, smoke/perf) into CI/CD so builds give rapid, reliable feedback; keep suites deterministic and failure‑diagnostic.
- Data‑Aware Testing: Validate end‑to‑end data flows (MongoDB, Postgres, DB2); manage safe test data strategies; assert data integrity/consistency across services.
- Observability RCA: Instrument tests with meaningful logs/metrics to accelerate failure triage; analyze defect clusters and flakiness to prevent recurrence.
- Release Readiness: Contribute to go/no‑go with evidence from automated runs, performance smoke, and critical path validations; support post‑deploy checks.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, auditable records of test plans, results, defects, and performance metrics; contribute to runbooks and quality dashboards.
- Mentorship: Coach junior QEs/testers on tooling, patterns, and test design; drive reuse of frameworks/components; promote best practices across teams.
Requirements:
- QA/Automation Experience: Proven 4-6 year experience in quality assurance and test automation for web/services.
- Programming: Proficiency inJava (preferred) and/orJavaScript for test and utility code.
- Automation Frameworks: Hands‑on withSelenium WebDriver andTestNG; build runners and utilities withMaven; IDE: IntelliJ IDEA.
- API Testing: Strong experience automating REST APIs usingRestAssured; functional, negative, and contract‑style checks; Postman for quick validations when appropriate.
- Performance Testing: Working knowledge ofJMeter (or similar) for load/perf smoke integrated into pipelines; ability to interpret latency/throughput/error‑rate trends.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with pipelines and tooling such asJenkins (or GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps); capable of gating builds on test quality signals.
- SDLC Agile: Solid understanding of software lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, story refinement, and “shift‑left” quality practices.
- Test Management: Experience withJira andZephyr (or equivalent) for planning, traceability, and reporting.
- Data Databases: Practical experience validating data withMongoDB (NoSQL),Postgres, andDB2 (SQL); ability to write queries to set up/verify test scenarios.
- AI‑Assisted Quality Engineering: Proficient usingAI coding/QA copilots (e.g.,Microsoft Copilot) to draft and refinetest cases,Gherkin scenarios, andautomation code
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities; clear written/verbal communication; strong collaboration across engineering, product, and business.
- Time‑Zone Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across time zones to support onshore/offshore team members with responsiveness and reliability.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
